External Reviews for Cantina Valpantena Corvina Veneto IGT
The co-operative of Cantina Valpantena takes its name from the valley where it lays, a place of great beauty that inspired Renaissance poets and where vines were cultivated even before the rise of the Roman Empire. This unoaked, medium-bodied Corvina shows abundant cherries on the nose which continue to the palate. Perfect to drink along side pizza.
The Falasco Corvina represents a soft and easy drinking style with an intense ruby red colour. The nose is rich and full of dried cherries and cranberry aromas. On the palate it has good clean fruit, a nice balance and well rounded tannins. This is a well crafted wine all round with a good extract and solid structure. It compliments red meats, game and cheeses. Serve at 14°-16°C.
