Candoni Prosecco Brut NV
Delicate and fruity with a hint of honey. Candoni Prosecco is crisp and clean in the mouth. It has a pleasant acidity level that leaves behind a delicious and persistent freshness with a dry, well-balanced finish. Produced in a flourishing winery in the midst of the Prosecco area close to the historic city of Portogruaro in Italy's Veneto region. The grapes are harvested early to maintain freshness. It is made in the Charmat method, consisting of a double fermentation in which the second fermentation takes place in large stainless steel pressurized tanks. The wine is then bottled under pressurized conditions, leaving no yeast. The result is a refreshing, clean, full, sparkling, fruity product.
Candoni is a brand of wines from Arel Group, produced in Italy. The Candoni family has a rich history of wine production dating back 150 years. The wines are classic Italian favorites such as Chianti, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Prosecco as well as Merlot and Pinot Noir. The eye-catching labels feature recreations of ancient Roman images to depict the idea of tradition and respect for history.
Editorial Reviews for Candoni Prosecco Brut
A hint of almond and yeast on the nose with light honey. Tart lemon and melon notes with puckering acidity and bright flavors with sharp bubbles that melt away towards the midpalate. Comes off clean in the mouth and showing pleasant minerality and finishing with a touch of toasted yeast.

Candoni is a family-owned company with a long, outstanding tradition of producing fine wines. Proud of the important contributions on Italian winemaking that came from the ancient Etruscans, each bottle of Candoni wine is adorned with a reproduction of an ancient Etruscan fresco, painted and fired onto the bottle making it a decorative piece unto itself. This Prosecco is from the newly delimited DOC zone and made in a Brut style which is very dry and clean with ripe apple and pear flavors.
