Campo Viejo Tempranillo Blend Rioja Crianza 2000
An older wine in age and in character - rather muted, but drinking well now. Well balanced - ok. (Tasted as part of a marathon at the Wines from Spain trade event.)
Not bad, but overpriced (probably equivolent to a $11-12 bottle). I brought this to bring to a pallella party and thought it would be a hit,... but it was just so-so. Safeway carries this bottel.
Husets vin - ett säkert val i alla lägen.

Wine Tasting NotesTempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo. Garnet cherry-red in color with aromas of stewed fruit, wood, and spicy nuances, a lot of character and a long finish. An elegant wine that is a wonderful complement to beef rib roast, sauced meats, casseroles and aged cheese.
