Campo di Sasso Insoglio del Cinghiale 2011

External Review by JJ Buckley Fine Wines:

This gorgeous super Tuscan opens with inky dark concentration and bright aromas of dark cherry and prune. It feels soft lush and creamy in the mouth. Pair it with stewed game meat. Wine Enthusiast.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Aromas of currants and raspberry jam follow through to a full body with velvety tannins and a long flavorful finish. Lovely polished tannins and bright acidity. Give it a year or two to soften more but already delicious. Second wine of Biserno. Bordeaux blend. James Suckling.
