Campbells Durif The Barkly(2002)
-
June 2007
- Deep inky red wine with purple hues and aromas of ripe blackberry fruit with hints of dusty spice and coconut. The palate has rich upfront fruit with licorice and spice, balanced by firm fruit, tannins and subtle oak, adding complexity and length. Will compliment complex and strong flavored meat dishes, such as rare steak or kangaroo loin, as well as game, roasts or complex casseroles.
