Cameron Hughes Petite Sirah Lot 70 Lodi 2009

Member Review by Richard Foxall:

I'm on my third bottle (not all at once--how would I type this!) of this, but I am paying a lot less than retail. How does $5 sound? If you can find this, and you like PS, you'll like it. Big firm tannins to peel the fat off your teeth. (Vegetarians might like it, but they won't really get the full effect.) Deep, dark fruit under a smoky, leathery front end. Not one for the ages, or necesarily for aging, but good now.
