User Reviews for Cameron Hughes Lot 500 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Winemaker's Notes:

"Is boisterously packed with blue/black fruit notes contrasting its classic silky dusty red-toned core and polished texture. Black currant, plum and rose petals shimmer gloriously in the background. Fantastic.Cameron Condential: I recall the phone call from the broker going something along the lines of “I have a special Napa Valley Cabernet over here. Its 100% estate grown, Oakville fruit but the producer will only sell it as Napa Valley, not Oakville. Oh, I and I can’t tell you the producer’s name until you make an offer and sign an NDA.” I’ll admit I am a sucker for these types of situations even though I am as often disappointed as I am impressed by what is nally sent over after all the drama. Well, no disappointment here. I immediately moved this wine to the top of the list for our Lot 500 bottling and nothing moved it from its pedestal. This is the power of Oakville." -Winery
