User Reviews for Cameron Hughes Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley Lot 7

Winemaker's Notes:

Notes: I love this wine's beautiful bouquet of blackberries, cassis, coffee and cherries. Juicy and ripe across the mid-palate, with great structure and medium fine tannins. It has a long finish with medium complexity and will develop nicely over the next 4-5 years. Decant at least 30 minutes before drinking. Cameron Confidential: A blend of four different Cabernets from some very high-end growers and wineries in Knights Valley. The wine is aged in mostly French oak, about 50% new and 50% neutral. A little Petite Verdot rounds out the wine, adding some heft and a candied fruit component.
