Cambria Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley Clone 667 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Pinot Report Review Rated 91 Medium ruby color; deep. ripe cherry and earthy aromas; rich, ripe, deep, earthy flavors with spicy stewed cherry notes; good structure and balance; long finish. Ripe and full Pinot with really nice flavors and the structure to carry it for a few years at least. Wine Tasting Notes At first sip, Julia's Pinot Noir offers bright cherry flavors with a hint of cinnamon. Rich fruit flavors of blueberry, cranberry and cherry continue through the mid-palate. The finish is well-rounded and lingering, enhanced by vanilla and spicy oak nuances.

A rich pinot with lots of cherry up front and some peppery notes on the back. A little thin and young overall.

Very similar in color to the 2006, a translucent garnet center with a pale pink rim. On the nose and palate, the similarity between the two vintages is remarkable with the subtle scents of sour cherries and rhubarb notes apparent in both wines. With ... Chuck Hayward. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2007 Cambria Pinot Noir Estate Julia's Vineyard 750ml
