Cambria Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley Bench Break 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Enthusiast Review Rated 93 EDITORS CHOICE This is the best Pinot Noir at this price on the market. Easily. It's picture-perfect cool climate, absolutely dry and silky, with complex flavors of cherries, Mandarin orange, cola, pomegrantates, licorice and cinnamon spice, made even richer by smoky oak. Just lovely, and gets even better as it breathes in the glass. Wine Tasting Notes The Bench Break Vineyard Pinot Noir displays deep aromas of black cherries, red raspberries, cola and cinnamon, accented by sweet vanilla and nutmeg. A silky textured mid-palate finishes with bright plum and toasty oak flavors and balanced acidity. Smooth, chalky tannins lead to a clean, lingering finish.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
