A brilliant Super Tuscan that's a blend based mostly on Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. If wine ever makes you think of color, the obvious color that comes to mind is black, as in a variety of mixed black fruits and berries and chocolate. Aged entirely in French oak and, gratefully, still retains finesse.
