This beautiful, late harvest, botrysized Chenin Blanc calls to mind the great wines of Sauternes. Its distinctive character and complexity is derived from the benevolent form of the mold, botrytis cinerea. Vineyards in the Temecula Valley are rarely subject to the particular weather conditions which result in the proper form of "infection".
