A larger scaled, structured effort that oozes kirsch, strawberry, raspberry, incense and liquid flower-like aromas and flavors, the 2010 Pinot Noir Ryan Vineyard hits the palate with a full-bodied, voluptuously textured feel before firming up considerably on the finish with layers of tannin. It’s a beauty, but needs 2–3 years of bottle age and will shine through 2025+. Drink 2015–2025+.

Ruby core and rim. Wild raspberries and lifted baking spice notes accentuate this lively youthful nose. Silky juicy and plush on the palate with primary red fruit flavors and cola. Balanced yet young with soft tannins and mouthwatering refreshing acidity this classic pinot has years of life ahead. A testament to the unparalleled quality of Josh Jensen s pinot - sourced from his estate vineyard planted at altitude in limestone. Small production - I would stock up. Devon Magee.

You can almost read through the translucent ruby color of this wine, but there’s nothing light about it. Rich with cherries, it offers lots of pleasure now, but with moderate alcohol, fine acidity, and minerality that gives the wine a foundation, it should hold in the cellar until 2018, at least.

WA 93 Pts WS 88 Pts - According to Wine Advocate - From one of the property's coolest sites, the 2007 Pinot Noir Ryan Vineyard reveals nearly overwhelming notes of sassafras, root vegetables, plums, red currants, and raspberries. It is a spicy, earthy effort with an autumnal-like herbaceousness. Aged 17 months in French oak (30% new), it is a Pinot Noir for those who prefer that varietal's spicy, stemmy, earthy side. Nevertheless, there is still plenty of fruit in this complex, singular cuvee. Rated 90+

The color is a dark mahogany red with a fuchsia rim. After time in the glass, the nose begins to reveal a beautiful perfume of crushed berries, brambly spice and loamy soil, with a streak of minerality. The palate has a graceful entry of red and bla...
