Caleo Inzolia 2007

External Review by WineExpress.com:

Inzolia (also known as Ansonica, 'Nzolia, and Insolia) is a marvelous white wine grape from Sicily that's only recently been discovered as Sicilian wines have become more popular. The Inzolia has a spicy, aromatic character on the nose that gives way to a rich, rounded tropical fruit on the palate. It is refreshing and very unique. The grapes for this wine were harvested mid-September for full ripeness. After a soft-pressing the must is left to ferment for 15 – 20 days in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, creating a clean modern style wine where the fruit and freshness take the lead. Don’t miss it!
