http://www.spittoon.biz/caldora_colle_dei_venti_pecori.html Lemons, nectarines, minerals, lime rind, orange pith, fresh, clean and quite full. Summery. Long lasting, dry, interesting, complex. Delicious.
It is even better when it warms up a bit.. The butter flavor shins!!
We opened a bottle of Caldora Pecorino that we had received in a gift basket a couple of years ago, last night. It was a beautiful evening here in Michigan, and rather than our usual red, we wanted to try something different. We were very pleasently surprised by how good the Caldora Pecorino was. As I said I'm a red wine drinker, and I really, really enjoyed this wine. My wife is very particular about the white wine she drinks, and she loved this one. We will be searching out where to purchase this, it was great. Ken J.
Tried it for the first time in an Itailian restaurant in North Berwick, Scotland......truly beautiful!
