Slightly oaky, caramelly nose. However, introduction to the palate is very bright—hint of melon flavor, but the dominant sensation is acid tartness that is very close to lemony. Melon, again seems to dominate the aftertaste. I can see why lovers of buttery/oaky chardonnays would not care for this. To me this is a terrific sipping wine, but I am also looking forward to having it with grilled tuna, tonight.

This Chardonnay was light, fruity with strong pear and apple notes, and subtle oakiness that was brought out by time in glass and flavors in the meal. I enjoyed this chardonnay with prosciutto wrapped monkfish and the food/wine pairing was phenomenal.

This was a nice middle of the day treat. We had it with our lunch and the crispness cut right to my core. There was a little pear on the nose and maybe a little apple. Had a noticeable citrus flavor in the mouth but was well appreciated. The finish ended with a little bit of butter.

Our 2012 Napa Valley Chardonnay offers delightfully fragrant, slightly yeasty aromas of ripe pear, apple and guava fruit complemented by hints of honeysuckle, mineral and toasted oak. It likewise hits the mark on the palate, delivering sensationally concentrated pear, spiced apple and melon flavors that culminate in a long finish lifted by zesty spice and mineral tones. Bold and beautifully balanced, with great depth and breadth of flavor, our 2012 Chardonnay is a delicious expression of a picture-perfect vintage. The 2011 Chardonnay Napa is a citrusy Chablis-like effort displaying lots of freshness, lemon and tangerine oil notes, medium body and no evidence of oak. Drink it over the next several years.

Our 2011 Napa Valley Chardonnay opens with fresh, creamy aromas of ripe pear, apple and citrus, with light butter, yeast and spicy oak tones adding complexity. The wine's rich, focused, green apple, melon and guava flavors are nicely balanced by fresh acidity and a piquant mineral tone. Both mouthfilling and elegant, this quintessential Napa Valley Chardonnay is delectable now, but it will develop even greater complexity with another 5-8 years' bottle age. - WineryGrape variety: 100% ChardonnayFermentation: 90% French Oak & 10% stainless steelBarrel-aging: 8 months in French oak, 35% new, with periodic stirring of the yeat leesAlcoholic Content: 14.2%Total Acidity: 0.714g/100mlpH: 3.5 ** Only 1 in Stock **

This 2006 Chardonnay displays lovely ripe pear and sweet citrus aromas that are lifted by fragrant white flower and subtle toasty oak scents. The palate has a sleek entry that leads into a creamy, concentrated mid-palate with rich lemon zest, melon, white peach and vanilla flavors that segue into a refreshing flinty and mineral-tinged finish.
