In the 80's the Chianti Conzorrzio introduced a set of guidlines as to locations,techniques of cultivation and blends for these wines which had come to be called 'Super Tuscans ' The Cabreo estate is located close to the village of Greve and has 50 hectares called ' Fattoria di Zano ' planted with sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon and another 25 hectares to the south of the village planted with chardonnay.Because the cepagement does not comply with the rules for a DOC or DOCG wine these wines are classified as  Vino Da Tavola Di Toscana or IGT.
