This wine exhibits a lovely floral, slightly dusty, spicy perfume nose. Dark ruby purple in hue, it is interwoven with cranberry, dark cherry and a hint of smoky oak. It is full bodied, lean and well structured. This wine will continue to age well for the next decade.

Honestly I liked the flavor, but it grew more pleasing as I took time to really let the flavors work. Also, a couple from Napa came in to pick up their yearly shipment and they raved about the Cab Franc. So you could say I was influenced by their excitement probably more than the wine itself. Still, a solid purchase and a nice discussion piece during dinner on the history of Raymond Burr and T.V.
