Clasically ripe tasting Catalan red, made following the centuries old style beloved by Roman centurions who were the first to make wine in the Catalan region. The grapes are sourced from old vines of 50 years or more, which yeild small volumes of deeply-coloured, concentrated juice.
A soft and easily drinkable red from the Catalan region. Made of 70 % Grenache, 20 % syrah and 10 % Carignan. Notes of berries and maybe a hinch of cinnamon. Roundand soft, but still with som tannins in the taste. Not long and lasting impression on the tongue,though. 14 % vol.
This is perhaps my tip of the sub £20 wines I have tried, costs under a tenner a bottle and tastes like an over £20 one. Try it and tell me that you dont like it :)
