This wine upholds the Valgrande vineyard's reputation for gentle and elegant wines.

Very soft and velvety texture. Aromas of chocolate and sweet fruit. Medium-bodied with delicious layers of fruit, chocolate and cacao. Very smooth tannins and a good finish on fruit - delicious! Can age for 5 to 10 more years. Elegance is hallmark of this wine, but it can accompany roasts, meats, veal, and cheeses very effectively. A great, soft Barbaresco.

The grapes were picked in mid-October and were carefully graded to ensure quality. The wine was then aged in Slavonian oak casks for 12 months.
