C.G. di Arie Sauvignon Blanc Amador County 2009

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Starts out with sweetish notes of powdered sugar a sage that are joined by tropical fruit notes. Soft and broad in the mouth with a velvety texture and juicy orchard fruit tones. A simple wine in an easy to drink style 85pts

This Sauvignon Blanc was made from grapes that came from a very small vineyard on Shenandoah Road just outside the town of Plymouth. It was cold fermented in a stainless steel tank resulting in a highly aromatic and crisp wine with a citrus-like flavor and a mineral finish.
