C & B Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
"Despite the enormous influence of California's wineries, too few specialize in premium wines at value prices. One that does is Cartlidge and Browne. Avoiding extra oak and other types of manipulation used by some vintners, Cartlidge & Browne produces fruity, pure, and vibrant wines that reflect varietals' personalities.

The juicy, deep ruby-tinged 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals classic aromas of black fruits intermixed with hints of underbrush and herb. Fine ripeness, low acidity, and medium body suggest it should be enjoyed over the next 2ndash;3 years.
The 2005 Cabernet Sauvingon exhibits black current, dried herb, earth, and spice characteristics. It is a fruit-driven, medium-bodied, soft wine to consume over the next 2ndash;3 years. One of the premium purveyors of value-priced California wines (believe me, there are not many that offer high quality at low prices), Cartlidge amp; Browne continues to provide rewarding and surprisingly tasty drinking.
