Food Pairings for Byron Chardonnay Santa Maria Valley
Nice apple and pear tart aromas with some fresh pie crust and baking spice accents. Luscious texture and has a creamy weight but retains a nice acidity to balance it and keep it vibrant. Tree fruit flavors with hints of apple, pear and some peach as well as hints of nectarine citrus and an ever so slight herbal note. Bright, crisp and well structured. Very tasty and drinking very well at 6 years! 92 pts. 6/9/13

Wine Tasting Notes Our Santa Maria Valley Chardonnay displays fruit-forward citrus aromas, accented by hints of mineral and toasty oak. On the palate, it is richly textured with cream, toast, lime and minerals.
