Bv Georges de Latour Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2006

External Review by WineExpress.com:

A legendary wine, the Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet has been a standard bearer for Napa Valley Cabernets for over 60 years, going back to the legendary André Tchelistcheff who produced the first bottling in 1936 and every subsequent bottling until he died in 1994 , this is a wine for the ages. Wine Enthusiast magazine scored it 95 points and said "...Beaulieu has succeeded with this dramatic, classic Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s absolutely delicious, offering a range of blackberry, black currant and cedar flavors, complexed with notes of chocolate, anise, sweet smoky leather and Asian spices. Beautiful now for its velvety softness, but has the inherent structure to last for a long time. Through 2014, and much longer if you like older Cabernet."
