Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Classic quality and bold style have distinguished Beaulieu Vineyard Reserve Wines for more than a century. This 2005 Dulcet is a prime example. The name reflects the harmony that’s created with this unique blend of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Napa Valley Syrah. The Cab is harvested from throughout the valley; Stags Leap District, Rutherford, St. Helena and Calistoga, and brings complexity and strength. The Syrah, from BV’s cooler Carneros vineyards, adds a juicy, ripe note to the Cabernet Sauvignon’s more masculine expression. The wine is aged for 18 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels for an added nuance of toasty, spice. Lush and velvety, this 2005 brings blackberry, black cherry, dark chocolate and a dusting of cherry pie spices. On SALE!
This Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah blend creates a layered, juicy flavor palate of blueberry, blackberry, and black cherry. Aging the wine in American and French oak barrels for 18 months lends toasty oak notes.
