Baron d'Ardeuil is made from a selection of the best plots from vines more than 15 years old. Harvest and sorting are processed manually. Tradition, with respect to vinification's principles, and an up-to-date equipment completed in 1988, enable the best enhancement of grapes quality. Maturing in new casks gives delicacy and fullness. Bottling is made 20 months after the harvest, then the maturation is going on in air-conditioned cellars. The bouquet is subtler and supple from the third year and wine becomes pleasant to drink. It will keep for some ten years.
