Winemaker's Notes:

The grapes were picked at perfect ripeness, open fermented in small vats and aged in a mix of old and new American oak barrels. Our Primitivo is a full bodied wine with rich cherry flavours, with a hint of savoury spice and vanilla. Drink now or cellar for up to five years. Enjoy with aged cheeses, prosciutto, tomato based or meat dishes. Primitivo originated in Puglia, Southern Italy, also know as Zinfandel in America.
