Winemaker's Notes:

The Château de Thulon in Lantignié, one of the best villages due to its hillsides and granite soil, produces a wine with a bright red color and a fresh and fruity nose. Best drunik when young, within 2 years. Wines from the Beaujolais villages area were made and bottled on the Château de Thulons cellar (XII century), Jean-Marc Burgaud's great aunt's property. Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 89 points by Wine Advocate: The Burgaud 2010 Beaujolais-Villages les Vignes de Thulon offers a sappy, exuberant, and ultimately gripping profusion of ripe but tart-edged and prominently seedy blackberry. A mouthwatering salinity helps render this simple but pure and intensely-fruited recent bottling irresistible. Plan to enjoy it over the next couple of years.
