I enjoyed this Cream Sherry in the 80s then moved to the Midwest and was unable to find it. Has it really been discontinued?
Buena Vista put out one of the best Cream Sherry's in the World. I have been to Spain and Portugal and tasted Ports and Sherry's and I still say Buena Vista had the best Cream Sherry specially between 1990- 2003. It is to bad the Winery who merged with Buena Vista have stop making this fabulous Cream Sherry and are using the old Sherry producing area for Wine producing only. I still have some of the last cases of the great Buena Vista Cream Sherry. Any questions email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Buena Vista Cream Sherry was certainly one of the the BEST on the planet! The winery's decision to discontinue producing it could almost be characterized as a crime against humanity. How shortsighted to replace a truly phenomenal cream sherry with a Carneros that can never fill the unique world-standard niche possessed by its predecessor!
I'm 35 years old and have been enjoying Buena Vista Cream Sherry at least since I was 21. ; ) It was a horrible shock that such a wonderfully unique cream sherry was supplanted and I'll be unlikely to make my bi-annual trip to the winery once I return to California this year.
