Wine Tasting Notes<br/>Aromatic notes of black cherry and cranberry rise subtly out of the glass and evolve into scents of rose hips and eucalyptus. On the palate, the tannins are lightened by a nice acidity that makes this an excellent wine to pair with grilled quail.

In the glass the wine is translucent and with a brownish tinge to it. On the tongue I’m getting some cherry cough syrup that has been the rage with California PNs, these days. On the other hand, I’ve had worse—much worse. In all honesty, the sensation fades fairly quickly. Sturdier tannin that I see in most CA PNs. To me that makes it taste more like wine—a good thing. Also very obvious acid. Probably not a Pinot lover’s Pinot, but for under $15 a pretty reasonable wine.
