Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Light purple, fruity, ripe, easygoing, spicy black cherry flavors, friendly personality. Forward and toasty, this shows coffee and licorice notes up front, followed by a slightly soft core of plum and blackberry fruit. A toasty edge takes over on the finish. Drink now. 13,125 cases imported. -JM

A bit snappy for a Malbec, with blackberry fruit buffered by a crisp finish. Fresh, with good weight, this may flesh out a touch in the shortterm. Drink now through 2005.

Dark red/purple color. Very perfumed with aromas of ripe black cherries and some sweet oak. Full, fleshy, and jammy in the mouth with loads of ripe and spicy red and black fruits. Great structure with loads of ripe, fleshy tannins, and a long, long finish. Wow. This is one that you buy by the case to take home to amaze your friends and family. You can drink it tonight or over the next few years to enjoy the Malbec fruit flavors at their best. It will pair well with traditional red-friendly foods like hamburgers, steak, pork chops and ribs, pizza, spaghetti with meat sauce, and grilled or roasted chicken. Great all by itself too. - Winery
