As I reported to readers last year, Domaine Michel Colin has now been divided between brothers Bruno and Philippe (see below). Bruno's half consists of 8 ha (6 ha in Chassagne) and is evenly split between reds and whites, though there are only 6 reds and 12 whites. He told me that 2004 is a good vintage though not a great one. It offers gorgeous and fresh fruit and excellent balance and in my view, it will be for moderate keeping.
