This vintage was fantastic for Brunello. This full-bodied red wine is complex with rasberries, licorice, spice, vanilla and chocolate. Quite a mouthful from a more modern Tuscan producer.

"Has lots of jammy blackberry character, with hints of nutmeg. Full-bodied, with jammy fruti and a round, fruity, raisiny finish. Concentrated yet stylish. Best after 2008..90" WS Insider 02.08.
