Vintage: 2010 05/27/2015

Black cherry, black currant, cedar and tobacco flavors highlight this firm, dense red. This has the fruit, structure and harmony to develop, with a juicy finish and a lingering wild herb and mineral aftertaste. Best from 2018 through 2033. 7,083 cases made.

Vintage: 2008 02/24/2014

Inky dark concentration and bright cherry fruit open the nose of this nicely balanced Brunello. Leather, tobacco and cola notes give it aromatic momentum, and the wine shows bright acidity capped by firm tannins. Pair it with lamb or pork.

Vintage: 2008 05/12/2014

The 2008 Brunello di Montalcino is strikingly beautiful in this vintage. Sweet floral notes meld into raspberries, flowers, mint and spices. A sexy, radiant wine, the 2008 impresses for its balance and overall sense of harmony. The long, polished finish is impeccable. All the elements are in the right place. I don’t expect the 2008 to be a long-term ager, but it is very appealing today. Anticipated maturity: 2013–2020.
