Brundlmayer Gruner Veltliner Berg Vogelsang 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

"Lively and pure aromas of citrus, pears, and fresh apples as well as a bouquet of flowers, some yeasty element in a younger state of ripeness, then fine string of minerals on the palate and typical peppery spice. Completely dry and also therefore medium bodied, with sappy fruit, not opulent yet dense in structure, a very long and elegant mineral finish. A classic single vineyard Gruner Veltliner." -Winery

Weingut Brundlmayer:
Weingut Bründlmayer is situated in Langenlois, some 70 km north-west of Vienna, upstream along the Danube in the Lower Austrian Kamp Valley. The wooded hills of the Waldviertel protect the vineyards from the cold north-westerly winds. During the day, the sun warms the stony terraces, while at night the fresh, fragrant forest air drifts through the Kamp Valley into the Langenloiser Arena.
