Brown Brothers Tempranillo 2008
This is one of Brown Brothers newest wines after being successfully trialled at the cellar door. The second nationally released vintage has a mix of red and black berries and savoury spice with a hint of sweet oak. It is a medium bodied wine ideal for drinking now or cellaring short-term.
Lightly sour aroma and a bold, likeable flavor. Sweet, tangy, and a touch smokey. This reminded me a little of port, with a little immature grape sourness and fruity sweetness. A steal at $5!
One of the best wines produced in Australia today. It exhibits everything a good temp need refreshingly light and dry but with beautiful fruit on the middle palate. Sells for ewell under $20 in Australia.
Nice and smooth drinking.
