Rich pineapple juice hue. Fresh nose of stone fruit. Palate begins very sweet but acid kicks in to balance. Medium-bodied tinned pineapple quality in the mouth with an acidic freshness. A short finish. Not sure how it would stand up to dessert but it made a great basil cream sauce for seabass. At 9.5% alc, perhaps drink on a summer's afternoon with fruit tart.
I love this wine. It is like drinking nectar. Soft, deep, honey and orange scents. Every time I go out of the US to a country that has this wine, I buy and bring it back. Wish it were available in the US.
