This wine is extremely full bodied with nicely integrated tannins. Rich blackberry flavors and meaty undertones lead the way to an extended finish.
Very spicy nose. Aromas of bacon grease and grilled meat. Some boysenberry pie. Lots of dried leaves and fruit. Also, graphite, mineral and spice. Very funky. Big dried red fruit flavors. Sassafrass and some herbaceous qualities. 3/29/12
