Not much to say about this other than utter disappointment. The wine was just simple one-note oak and alcohol put into a heavy bottle and slapped with a gimmicky label. Grossly overpriced for what you're getting. To my mind, this wine perfectly represents what's gone wrong with Napa Valley over the last decade.

Winemaker Notes - Three winemakers, Josh Peeples (Chateau Boswell), Drew Neiman (Kongsgaard, Neiman Cellars), and Pam Starr (Crocker & Starr, Spottswoode), have collaborated by blending their excess barrels. Even though their premium labels sell for almost three times the price, Bridesmaid's quality is equivalent. Bridesmaid Red 2005 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small amount of Syrah. Very dark, sweet, concentrated berry borders on liqueur-ish but not quite. Its very dark color portends the deep, rich, concentrated flavor. Mulberry, black licorice, cola, read more...
