What to Expect

Sémillon is one of the grapes traditionally used to produce both dry and sweet white wines in Bordeaux. When bottled on its own the wine produced is rich and full with deep flavors of melon, fig, pineapple and apricot featuring gentle, earthy, spice tones and a subtle vegetal undercurrent.

Winemakers Notes

2007 Bridesmaid White Wine winemaker notes: "Fresh and complex, this blend of Semillion and Sauvignon Blanc tastes of sweet honeydew melon, ripe peaches, cream and a touch of apricot. There's a wonderful mineral quality, fresh milled flowers, and a lively acidity giving the wine an effortless balance. It pairs well with everything from chicken and fish to soft cheeses."Varietals: Semillion, Sauvignon Blanc only 450 cases madeThree winemakers, Josh Peeples (Chateau Boswell), Drew Neiman (Kongsgaard, Neiman Cellars), and Pam Starr (Crocker & Starr, Spottswoode), read more...
