Classic penetrating Nebbiolo aromatics of, oyster shell, red fruit, dried roses, rust, iron, dried herb, leather, and still a touch of youthful melon. Soft and juicy in the mouth with a spicy, herb toned, really fruit driven mid-palate full of lovely wild strawberry notes. Lush and polished without being fat or manipulated, in fact it has an almost lean gracefulness. Classic Nebbiolo d’Alba that is eminently drinkable with lots of very fine, willowy tannins and sparkling acidity. Lovely mineral cut on the cleansing finish and a touch of menthol freshness.
