Brewer-Clifton Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2010
Dark plum, anise, and Pu-erh tea aromatics set the stage for the flavors of dried cherries, dried wild mushroom and baker’s cocoa flavors that follow. Tender and cohesive in the mouth with a very firm and savory palate impression and finish. 1,850 cases produced. Not yet reviewed; 2009 vintage rated 93 points by James Suckling: Bright fruit with a beautiful sliced strawberry aroma and minerals. Full-bodied, yet refined and firm with spicy, firm tannins and dusty finish. Stylish and serious. Best after 2014.
