Bright medium red. Spicy raspberry and cherry on the nose, with suave floral qualities adding complexity. The sappy, sweet red berry preserve flavors are perked up by tangy minerality. Dusty tannins add grip to the finish, which leaves a sweet raspberry note behind. This is drinking very well right now.

Wine Advocate ReviewRated 90The 2006 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley offers a lovely nose of violets, sweet raspberries and cherries, medium to full-bodied flavors, terrific purity, and a long finish. It can be enjoyed over the next 3-4 years. This serious new producer in the Boonville area of Mendocino is well worth a look. I was thrilled to see my esteemed colleague, Lettie Teague, tout these wines in Food and Wine magazine as one of her best discoveries of the year.Wine Tasting NotesThis blend of all three of our Pinot noir vineyards expresses the signature of the Anderson Valley. A sniff of this wine evokes thoughts of cherry pierich with ripe fruit and a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
