Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Crisp and refreshing, with delicious fresh fruit flavors. The wine reflects the quality and purity of the fruit. I brought a bottle to an early Thanksgiving dinner, and it was a huge hit!

Solid wine nicely balanced between ripe fruit and drier mineral notes. Fruit forward without being sweet. Crisp finish. Food friendly (had it with shrimp tempura) but also great on its own.

A very good dry California Riesling. Beautiful floral nose with tropical fruit on the palate. Excellent clean finish due to the acidity.

Tasting Notes:

Brass Tacks Riesling offers crisp clean notes of fresh peach, honey and apricot with mineral qualities and bright acidity.
