Brandl Zobing Riesling Heiligenstein Kamptal 2010

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Bright and pure on the nose with great intensity to the decidedly sweet smelling lemon, pineapple and orchard fruit aromas that are supported with a gentle mineral base and topped with floral notes. Nicely zesty up front with an initial hit of quince paste that’s followed by flavors of lightly dried orchard fruits. This is dry but nicely round with richness, thought the electric spice of acid dominates the palate and washes over the lightly fruited finish with deep, almost steely minerality. 92pts
