Great deal for ~$10. Classic NZ Sauv Blanc profile: Tropical, grassy, kiwi, fresh on the nose. Nice acid. Went well with BBQ on a warm summer evening.
Energetic, crisp, refreshing, tasty, and very well-priced. Classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with pungent herbal qualitites buttressed by pink grapefruit flavors and tropical undertones. Lively acidity, light and bright in the mouth and finish. Really good summertime wine, really good food wine.
Peaches. Good, but with a bitter end.
Has a distinctive bouquet that gives way to a crisp, refreshing taste that reminds me of lime and apricots. Bright and intense both in aroma and flavor. Perfect for summer sipping and unlike any sauvignon blanc I've ever had including Brancotts of prior vintages. A real winner especially when it can be found for $10.
External Reviews for Brancott Vineyards Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
Light and fresh, with modest grapefruit flavors matched by herbal notes and some flowery aromatics. Probably best as an apéritif.
Bright, with very good intensity to grass, lime, lemon blossom and grapefruit tones. Pronounced mineral and stone flavors extend through the concentrated finish. Drink now.
Juicy and refreshing, with grapefruit, and melon flavors, that remain zingy through the tart finish. Drink now.
This vintage of Brancott's Sauvignon Blanc knocks it right down the center of the fairway-clean and refreshing, marked by brisk acids. Stone fruit and melon notes abound, tinged with just the right proportion of green herbs. Drink now.
Bright and refreshing, with lime, pear and mineral flavors that keep singing on the lively finish. Drink now.
Crisp and lively, a juicy mouthful of citrus, melon and passion fruit flavors at a moderate level of intensity, finishing with polish. Drink now.
A spicy and pungent herbal, almost peppery, note gives way to crisp lemon, lime and white grapefruit flavors, with zingy acidity. Distinctive and very refreshing.
