Brancott Vineyards Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Great deal for ~$10. Classic NZ Sauv Blanc profile: Tropical, grassy, kiwi, fresh on the nose. Nice acid. Went well with BBQ on a warm summer evening.

Energetic, crisp, refreshing, tasty, and very well-priced. Classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with pungent herbal qualitites buttressed by pink grapefruit flavors and tropical undertones. Lively acidity, light and bright in the mouth and finish. Really good summertime wine, really good food wine.
Peaches. Good, but with a bitter end.
Has a distinctive bouquet that gives way to a crisp, refreshing taste that reminds me of lime and apricots. Bright and intense both in aroma and flavor. Perfect for summer sipping and unlike any sauvignon blanc I've ever had including Brancotts of prior vintages. A real winner especially when it can be found for $10.

Very pale color. Aromas of kiwi, papaya and honeydew. Rich and concentrated, with moderately complex tropical fruit flavors and a silky texture. Enters the mouth with sweet fruit and an impression of thickness, then firms up toward the back, finishing with drier notes of pear skin and apple core. Production of this item is reportedly in the range of 850,000 cases!
Tight and racy, with a striking acidity carrying lime zest, an aromatic peach component, and wet stone minerality. Would work well as an aperitif, whetting the appetite for the coming meal, or with a tart, citrus-dressed salad.
