Brancott Estate wines honour our original Marlborough home - Brancott Vineyard. It's now more than 30 years since we introduced the world to a wine style unlike anything experienced before. We were the first to plant and create the world’s first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc wine – a style that has since changed the course of New Zealand's wine industry. Floral nose. Some strawberry, but over all, it's a heavy, meaty and earthy Burgundian palate.

Brancott Pinot Noir Reserve Winemaker's notes: Color: Deep garnet red. Aromas: The wine shows fragrant wild berry aromas, dark plum, a hint of tobacco and fine integrated oak toast. Palate: The palate also shows these dark berry fruits and exhibits a mouth-filling, ripe fruit sweetness. Soft, supple tannins give this wine excellent mouth-feel. Serving Suggestions: Porcini or field mushroom risotto or pasta. Grilled rare venison or grilled ostrich. Slow-cooked rabbit, hare or wild fowl stews with winter vegetables. Duck confit. Cellaring: An elegant but complex, fruit-driven wine which may be cellared for up to six years.

Clean raspberry flavors infuse this simple, juicy pinot noir. For a burger, grilled rare.

Lithe and supple, with fine intensity to black pepper, red currant and black plum notes. Fresh herb accents, cedary oak and a tangy structure shape the finish. Drink now through 2009.

Palish bright red. Redcurrant and cinnamon aromas complicated by a smoky nuance. A sweet, supple style, with flavors of ripe red berries and spices. Not hugely concentrated or vibrant but finishes with smooth tannins and lingering sweetness of fruit.
