Brancott Pinot Noir 2008
This wine is an excellent entry level Pinot Noir style. Fruit driven with dominance of classic cherry and red berry characters supported with hints of oak spice, complement a fine, velvet tannin structure delivering true Pinot Noir typicity. This wine’s bright fruit makes it an ideal match for a wide range of foods. Mushroom pasta or risotto would be an ideal match. Grilled red meats or a variety of red meat casseroles would again work admirably.
Editorial Reviews for Brancott Pinot Noir
Sweet, stemmy, and slightly tropically-fruited on the nose with really nice layered complexity. On entry this is rather light and elegant with a very soft, round, caressing character. The strawberry fruit is fresh and set off by gently leafy and mineral tones that linger on the medium-length finish. 89pts
