Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough New Zealand 2015

External Review by WineExpress.com:

The original New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Brancott has been producing this outstanding wine since 1979 and it's been a benchmark ever since. Brancott Vineyards have the unique distinction of having planted the first commercial vineyard in Marlborough. And we've all seen what that's led to. This 2015 is another solid wine. It rated a Silver Outstanding Award at the International Wine & Spirits Competition. They said "Watery pale lemon with green glints. Struck match, lemon/lime with greenage, snow pea and red pepper. Grippy, fresh and intense in the mouth with a mineral drive. Very classic youthful Marlborough. Long intense finish." and Wine Spectator scored it 90 points saying "Fragrant and juicy, with apple blossom, lime zest and chive blossom notes surrounding a core of intense and refreshing lemon and grapefruit flavors. Drink now."
